At Farstrup Contract, we make unique demands on our furniture’s durability and maintenance. We primarily use beechwood for our furniture. The strength and flexibility of beech makes it well suited for making contract furniture, as this type of furniture is exposed to hard wear yet has to last for many years. We focus on other aspects besides function, ergonomics and aesthetics, however.

At Farstrup Contract we also place a high priority on safety and maintenance. Accordingly we can supply furniture with fire-resistant foam and non-flammable fabrics. Wheels can also be attached to our furniture to consider the needs of care and cleaning staff, and, of course, the user. In addition, we can fit removable, washable covers and waterproof membranes to our chairs, particularly those used in the care and hospital sectors.
